Product Descriptions:

Texas red labeled BSA (BSA-TR) is one of SLT's fluorescent albumin conjugates that were labeled with red fluorescent dyes. BSA (Bovine serum albumin) is a serum albumin protein derived from cows. BSA is a protein that has a molecular weight of 66.5 kDa. It is often used as a protein standard to quantify protein concentration. It also been widely used as an enzyme stabilizing agent.

Texas red labeled BSA from SLT is a red/purple fluorescent albumin conjugate that has a excitation/emission wavelength at 592/615 nm. SLT's BSA-TR are prepared by covalent conjugation of Texas red fluorescent dye to BSA molecules. Extensive purification process has been applied to remove any non-conjugated free dyes. These fluorescently labeled BSA conjugates can be easily detected by common fluorescent instruments such as fluorometer, fluorescent plate reader, fluorescent microscope or flow cytometer.  Texas red BSA conjugate is suitable for both in-vitro and in-vivo imaging applications.
